Neem
is known for its anti fungal, anti bacterial and anti inflammatory values. It
is our gradma's favourite answer to all the skin issues. It has been use for
ages to treat various skin problems. It not only fight germs but also provide a
clear and glowing skin. It is one of the key ingredients in many cosmetic
products prevalent in the market.
Neem
does wonders for a acne prone skin and it should be the rsp for us youngsters.
In this blog I am going to discuss about various ways in which we can bring
this gods special creation in use. Let us see how can we bring this free
ingredient to our daily use in quest of a fabulous, clear skin.
Take
some fresh neem leaves, wash them and sun dry them for a day or two. Now grind
them/crush them to make a fine powder. You can store this powder in a jar, so
that it can be in future. Now take 2tsp of this powder in a bowl and add 1 tsp
of lemon juice and add 2tsp of rose water(you can also use plain water). Add a
pinch of turmeric powder and mix well to make a consistent and smooth paste. Apply
this neem pack on face for 20 minutes. Wash off with cold water scrubbing in
circular motion. Apply small amount of coconut oil/moisturiser after rinsing it
off to add moisture to your skin. You will find your skin clear and glowing.
Repeat this process twice a week.
Lemon juice is known to lighten skin and reduce blemish marks on the
skin. It also contains citric acid which is quite effective for treating acne
and pimples. This is one effective face pack that is great for oily skin and removes
excess oil from your skin.
You can also get the neem dried powder at various leading
stores in the market.
2) Neem, sandalwood and rosewater pack
Taker dry 1tsp neem powder, 1tsp sandalwood powder and 4tsp rosewater.
Mix all the ingredients to form a fine paste. Now wash your face and apply this
pack on your face with your fingertips. Leave it on your face for half an hour
and wash with lukewarm water. If you have a chronic acne problem, apply this
face pack regularly or 3-4 times a week for good results.
3) Refreshing face spray
Soak
some fresh neem leaves in normal water or rose water orvernight ang store them
in a spray bottle for a week or two.
Keep
it in your refrigerator and use it whenever you feel dull and tired. It is a
very refreshing face spray and it also work as a toner and refreshes your skin.
4) Neem, Yougurt and Gram Flour(Besan)
Take
2tsp of dried neem powder, 2tsp of gram flour and add yogurt to make a smooth
and consistent paste. Apply it on your face for 15-20 minutes . Wash-off with
cool water. Apply small amount of coconut oil/moisturiser after rinsing it off
to add moisture to your skin.
5) Neem and Tulsi
Take
a handful of neem leaves and tulsi leaves and keep them under direct sunlight
for a day. This would draw out the entire moisture from the leaves thus making
them completely dry. Crush the leaves gently to obtain fine powder.
Tulsi
is known to reduce the appearance of dark spots and blemishes, reduce acne and
makes skin health and glowing.
Finally
add a teaspoon of honey and mix to form a paste. People with oily skin can add
a teaspoon of sandalwood powder or multani mitti, which helps to soak the excess
oil on the face.
Apply
this neem pack for face all over and keep for 10-15 minutes and scrub gently in
circular motions. Rinse off with cool water after the pack dries.

your skin.
My skin is normal and my colour tine was fair but nw it got dark.
